A Kiddie Parade, Hot Dogs, Sack Races, Bingo, Ice Cream, Stage Show, Obsticle Course, Car Show, Hamburgers, and .... of course FIREWORKS!  What do all of these have in common.... Why its the annual Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration in Prosser.

THIS YEAR the fun begins at 12:00 Noon in the City Park as the Car Show, Concessions Stands, and Bingo provide a little something for everyone.  Then at 1:00 pm the  Kiddie Parade starts at the Courthouse and continues through town ending up at the city park.  From there its more fun for the whole family with games, a bouncy toy obsticle course, and entertainment that is sure to please.  At 1:15 pm on Sylvan Stage enjoy the music of Dale Brown.  Then at 2:00 pm the annual Little Miss Prosser and Little Junior Miss Prosser contestants show off their stuff.  Come cheer on your favorites and see who wins the crown.  Closing out the stage show is singer Tara Collins.

The festivities go on until 4 pm just in time for those backyard family barbeques.  Then at dust around 9:45, the Prosser Rotary Club's annual fireworks display is the highlight of the day.  For a great viewing spot, check out Art Fiker Stadium on Paterson Rd.
